“PING PONG THERAPY”

Exercises you can do using ping pong-inspired drills to keep moving and stay cognitively stimulated.

Ping Pong for Good is the first to work with experts in Brain Health, Fitness and Table Tennis to develop PPG Fitness, a library of ping pong-inspired exercises and drills to stay physically and cognitively stimulated.

This series of challenging and fun exercises incorporate aspects of the game of ping pong to improve balance, hand/eye coordination, increase cognitive and physical engagement while aiming to improve skills for your ping pong game. These moves include bodyweight exercises, drills using a paddle and/or a ball, on a table with a partner or a ping pong robot. Practiced alone, with a partner, or even in virtual reality, PPG Fitness can help your brain, body and mood, while improving your game!

Make sure to speak with your doctor, physical therapist, or fitness professional to make sure you are cleared for exercise without supervision, or whether these exercises would be appropriate for you before attempting.

Below are examples of exercises you can do at home with just a ping pong ball and/or paddle, with more to come!
